    Root Droid error, help!

    E:can't open /cache/recovery/command

    -- Install from sdcard...
    Finding update package...
    Opening update package...
    Verifying update package...
    E:signature verification failed
    Installation aborted.

    What am i doing wrong? I've been trying for hours.

    There really isn't anymore information, I downloaded update.zip and made sure it was named update.zip not .zip.zip or something like that put it on my Droid, followed all the steps. And I get that error every time.

    I even checked in astro on the phone to make sure it was named correct.

    I read it 4 times, it IS in the root, it IS properly named, I'm not installing a ROM.

    Go to the links in my signature and re-download the file. The file should be 10MB for the root update.zip or so. Not 1kb.
