OK, rename it to update.zip (make sure it's not .zip.zip) and then put it on the root of your SD card
I don't think the renaming matters on ClockWOrld but hey, Like I said, I use SP Recovery and it does. Plus, renaming it won't hurt anything.
The root of my SD card? There is no folder named Root, should I create a folder or did I miss a step?
lol.. nah man.. What I mean is, dont put it in a folder. Make sure it's just on the SD card. THink of it like C: on your comp. It's not in c:\Program Files, it's in C:\
Allright manthanks lol.
But I allready have a update.zip folder in there for root? do i delete it?
Pretty much. delete the old and then then stick the new in there. don't try to replace it. For some reason that just doesn't work with the phone. It calls it update (2).zip
to delete a file, long click on the file and then select delete.
The go into recovery and install the new update.zip?
what you are deleting is the last flash you did on the phone, it is not deleting your backup.
