It's been a long time since I did anything with my phone. I have the Original Droid running MeticMOD and it has slowed way down. I have CM7 on my Nook Tablet and was wondering if I can flash CM7 with SPRecovery instead on CWM? Phone already has SPRecovery on it.

I decided to go ahead. I didn't know if I should put CWM recovery over SP Recovery so I did not. The installation worked great. The only downside that I had to boot before I flashed Google Apps so I could rename the file to update.zip.
CM7 works well on the original Droid and all of the speed it had two years ago is back. I suppose I could have just factory wiped etc. and reinstalled MeticMod by I have CM7 on my NT and thought why not on the phone as well.

Sorry I missed this but I'm glad you got it figured out. You can also mount the sdcard in sprecovery so that you could rename from your computer if you wanted to do it all in one.
