Ok, I'll put that in the disclaimer.

Question...after step 25 (going to step 26), do I disconnect the phone from the usb first or just leave it on?
Unplug it.
Did you just edit in that "unplug the usb" or did I just miss it before haha
no I just edited it since you asked...that means someone else was probably confused as well
After step 33, do I reboot the phone to get out of recovery so I can start the BB install?
You don't have to if you already have the update.zip on your SD card. I put them in that order though, so it was sort of like a separate process, if that makes sense. I didn't want to have people put the update.zip on the phone before step 33 and then wonder why they didn't use it while making the restore.
I have the originally update.zip on my sd card, but from the steps it looks like I have to mount my droid sd card to my computer to erase the original update.zip and put the BB zip on there. My question is, I'm currently on the recovery screen (after doing the backup)...do I click on "reboot system now" so I can get back to my main droid homepage and mount my phone to my computer?
Sorry if you answered that, I just didn't really understand what you said.
I just edited the first post again, check it out. Going to dinner and a movie, be back in a couple of hours.
Sorry it looks like I either missed it or you just edited it in. Thanks.
Now you are rooted with SPRecovery, you are backed up with Nandroid, and you are ready to install Bugless Beast. When installing Bugless Beast, you will NOT lose your applications, contacts, shortcuts, etc by using the method I am about to show you...reboot the phone by hitting the power button one press at a time until you are back to the main recovery menu, then hit reboot system. When it loads into the operating system go ahead and plug in your USB and mount your SD card.
