The update.zip link doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have a different link?
It takes a while to mount, install, etc. Just leave the phone alone and come back every couple minutes and don't force close, just keep clicking wait until it says it's done.
hlp.....the update.zip in the OP does not work....thx

I successfully downloaded DRH from this link. Scanned for viruses and it's good to go. Can't vouch for it forever, but I did it today and no problems.
To install:
1. Download
2. Transfer to root of SD card
3. Download apkInstaller from market
4. Open apkInstaller and locate Droid Root Helper - then click the DRH apk
5. Dunzo!

I successfully rooted my droid, installed rom manager free and premium, backed up my current rom, then installed bugless beast v0.5. After reboot, most of my apps automatically downloaded and installed, barring setCPU and Rom Manager Free (Rom Manager Premium was downloaded though). When I go to market, and select downloads, I get a message: "No downloads from Android Market." In addition, both set CPU and Rom Manager Free are not found in the market. Please can anyone help?
I would suggest downloading the AppBrain Market from the Android Market. You can usually find apps on App Brain that for some reason aren't showing up in Google's market. The markets can be quirky sometimes. Hope this helps!
Thank God I never changed my old Alltel unlimited data plan.
