    also feel free to add how to get wifi tether working. I installed wireless tether and it runs but I don't think it's working because none of my computers can see the network

    Thanks soo much!! I assume to install Bugless Beauty instead (I could care less about overclocking and wifi tether) the same steps apply except I simply use that ROM instead?

    I have BB and WiFi tether working, no problem. I have it set up as such:

    Use Bluetooth (unchecked)
    Enable WiFi encryption (checked)
    Passphrase is set within standards
    SSID is simply AndroidTether
    Channel is 1
    Power mode is active
    Enable access control (unchecked)
    192.168.1.0/24 for the network

    For some reason when I get to the step to input "flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-0.99.2.b.img" in terminal emulator, I get a message that the file was not found. But when I look in Astro or Linda, I can see the "recovery-0.99.2.b" file on the root of my sdcard. Can someone please clue a noob in on what I am doing wrong? Thanks for the help. I love this forum. It has helped me out since buying my Droid!

    I just searched droidroot and it showed right up, it and droidrootpro.
