ok so i have a droid 2 globel and i was downloading roms and the rom installed fine but when i went to boot i got stuck at the "m"....i think the whole reason for this is because i might have downloaded a rom for a droid 2 instead of a droid 2 global.................HELPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you flash this rom with adb or cmw? If adb, then download the correct rom and repeat. If you used cmw, you should be able to boot into recovery (power + x I believe) and do a restore (assuming you did a backup).

i used a abd i think....yess i backed it up but the x+power dosnt work

Just to be clear, adb uses a computer to push files to the phone and cmw installs files from the SD card and does not use a computer.

okay this is what i did: downloaded a rom (on my computer) then i put it on my sd card on my droid then i ran bootstraper and installed it and now im stuck in the M logo thing

OK. That isn't adb, but that's OK. Using your computer, go find a ROM that IS intended for your phone and download it. Since I don't have a D2 I will find out how to boot I to recovery from start up and then repost it here. After you have downloaded another ROM, transfer it to your SD card. Please tell me you have another SD card adapter besides the phone.

RSD lite is using adb btw.
