12-02-2011 03:20 PMThe only problem is my laptop doesn't have internet at the moment so trying to root it without extracting files from the laptop would be the best like a z4 root but for the gingerbread update

12-02-2011 06:12 PMUnfortunately to root a d2g running gingerbread you need to use a computer. Because of the exploit it needs to acquire root access there is not an app, such as z4, that can do it.
