    D3 Easy Root Wifi Tether (droid x)

    After the new update (4.5.605)...i had to get rid of my z4root which I used only for free wifi tether...I downloaded the D3 Easy Root (by connecting to my pc) and tried to use the free wifi tether icon that I previously downloaded used with z4...the wifi tether connects my device (ipad) but when i try using the ipad it redirects me to the verizon page and is unsuccessful...does anybody know how to get the free wifi tether or if i need to make any adjustments...if you need more info just let me know

    I'm having the exact same problem. Looks like maybe Verizon got smart to everyone rooting their phones for free wifi and blocked it within the update somehow. For now, I am using PdaNet via USB to get internet from phone to laptop. Hope someone comes along and gets a fix for the block soon. It gets old quick having to take turns sharing internet time among 4 people with just one phone.
