Rooting D1 with a xoom

Has anyone rooted a D1 (FRG83G) using a xoom(2.3)? Ive been searching for a bit and tried a few things but no go.

Things that i have tried:
Downloading terminal and SBF_Flash (read it worked for the atrix so was hoping it worked for D1)
Z4root
Tried to flashback to fr22d but no go


My D2 was acting wonky so i wanted to play around with my old D1. Ran to Verizon and had them switched then when i got home realized i left my laptop power plug in a vacation rental. Wont have it back for a week so xoom is primary computer source. I miss my project elite 4.2! Thanks in advance.

You need a PC or Mac to root a D1 on 2.2.2
