*Easiest* way to get back to stock (No root, no busybox)

Just to make sure, does this also remove sprecovery and unblock OTA updates? I know it says "completely back to stock" but I did not see those things mentioned.

LoL. To risk sounding like an idiot; I do not need the stock apps to use this method? I know some other methods require the stock apps to be present. I've deleted them in such a way that I can't restore them without having to jump through a few hoops. Will this restore the stock apps?

By stock apps I mean Amazon MP3, Corp Calender, et cetera.

I really appreciate the time and effort you've put forth, and I'm very thankful we have some great, dedicated people in this community that spend hours on end helping others.

Every "stock" app is in the /System partition. The only thing that's stored in /Data is stuff you get off the market or install yourself. By wiping the /System partition and installing the one in this rom you are effectively and COMPLETELY restoring your Droid to stock, as it came in the box, etc. Regardless of what you have going on there now. Same goes with the boot and recovery. This means no Root no Superuser.apk nothing but what was on the phone when you turned it on for the first time. If you REALLY REALLY want it "stock" then do a Factory Reset which will remove any app you've added by deleting /Data. Then wipe the SD card clean. This is more for people wanting to return the phone though. Hopefully this is clear and specific enough.

This method works perfectly and does not erase any of your apps or settings that you had before! Love it! Finally have a bug free phone! i tried the sholes 1.1 and kept getting force close errors every 10 mins or so for apps i didnt even have open and it ran extremely laggy. Just couldnt take it anymore! Thank you OP!
