    Droid 1 Help

I recently decided I wanted to root my Droid 1. Upon successfully completing the steps provided by this thread, Root Droid 1 - regardless of OS version, I decided that I wanted a custom boot logo. After doing this, I'm now stuck at 2.0.1. Being new to this, I'm not sure where to go from here. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

What file did you use for the logo? And where did you get it? If the phone still works, you could redo the steps in Motochache's thread. You shouldnt have to use rsd lite again if your rooted still. Just flash the rom or another rom.

I followed the directions in this thread, Changing your motorola "M" boot logo tutorial, and used a picture that I had created in photoshop. This is after the fact that I had rooted my phone at 2.2. After I did that, I was back to 2.0.1 and my phone upgraded to 2.1 and then tried to upgrade back to 2.2.

It will keep trying to update until you're on the latest version, 2.2.2.

Well my phone currently isn't rooted anymore and is sitting at "2.1 upgrade 1"
and not even trying to update to 2.2 anymore.

EDIT: scratch that, its updating as we speak :P

I cant say for sure if it was the sbf you used. But this is what I use for boot logos: Boot Logo Generator. And I dont believe you need to be rooted to use this.
