    Trying to root thunderbolt

    Ok so, Im trying to root my phone. ive had it for a while and its about time. i was going to use ( ***Updated*** Easy Root Available. 3 step process ) for the root, but it says I need a firmware version lower than 1.12.605.9. How do I revert my phone to this firmware? because ive been looking all over and can't find a straight answer. Is it the unroot thing? someone please inform me and lift a little bit of the noob plague from my soul
