Rsd lite error

So I'm trying to flash my wifes old droid 1 back to 2.2 using rsd lite 4.6 on my windows 7 64 bit laptop. I load up rsd lite and click on the ... button and select the sbf file that is saved to my desk top. I then connect the phone using the usb cable and boot the phone into the bootloader. RSD Lite then displays a message that says the phone is connected. I click on start and receive the following error message:

Failed Flashing process. Failed Flashing process. (0x7100); phone connected


As far as I know I am running the 64 bit drivers. But I am not 100 % positive. I have tried running rsd lite as administator and have also tried running in compatability mode using the windows vista option. My laptop has 3 usb ports and I have tried using all 3 and none seem to do the trick.

Does anyone have any other suggestions I can try?
