NEED HELP (touch screen wont respond) (restoring stock os)

Okay, just to let you know, when it comes to **** like this, I'm a noob. I barely understand a lot of this stuff. More than your average person, i guess, but compared to the people that actually manage to hack/mod the phones in the first place, I'm a retard.

That aside, I have rooted my phone and restored it multiple times in the past, becuase when rooted, I guess it blocked the OTA updates, and i was too lazy to install them myself, and i roooted it for the beifits of Barnacle.

ANYWAYS, now, my touch screen doesnt work for ****. I mean, it kind of works, but just not to my touch. It kind of spazzes. One of my friends said that it may be the OS being a little corrupt. I've tired hard resets, soft resest, and now I'm just going to try to reflash the stock froyo.

But I can't find the god damned files now. Can someone please help me.

okay, apparently a lot of people have had this problem, and it has nothing to do with software. it's the touch screen, making it a manufacturer problem. i'm safe. if you hhave the same weird faulty retarded screen thing with your Droid 1, you probably have the same problem.
