    Question sbf? flash? clockwork recovery? explain please

    I had an original moto droid and read some on this forum about rooting and such. That phone flipped out so upgraded to the D2G. Im thinking about rooting it but im not very familiar some of the terms and acronyms used in the threads. I would like to have a better understanding before I attempt anything so if anyone would please explain some of the terms to me such as sbf, flash, overclock, and anything else that would help me it would be greatly appreciated. Also is there any way to get around paying verizon for tethering?
