    Broken USB port, so how to root?

    Ello everyone,
    I was wondering if you could help me with a problem.
    I just got a 2nd OG Droid from a friend. It still functions fine, except the charging/USB port is broke..so I have to swap its battery to my other Droid to charge it. That being said, how can I root it without having it connected to a comp? I rooted my current Droid by pushing the .Sbf to the phone from the computer, so I'm not sure how to go about it this time.

    Any input or tips are welcome.

    i downloaded the app "z4 root", now, i'm not a pro, and asking my own questions, but that is how i got mine to root. never did one thing on it with a computer.
