About LinkBacksHi, Was running Chevys SS 5.2. Wanted to try another kernel. Directions said I had to use SPR recovery which I HATE!!! Normally use CW or RZ. No Nandroid backup only CW back up. Kernel didnt take. I now have am stuck in SPR recovery with no backup. Any ideas?

04-16-2011 07:45 PMHaven't used SPR in quite a while ... can you mount the SD card while in recovery? If you can, you could try d/l'ing and installing another kernel (or ROM).
I know with both CW and RZR you can mount the SD card so I'd assume you can with SPR.

...got it, get RZRecovery to the root of your SD and flash it, it has the ability to restore CW Backups

04-16-2011 08:41 PMIf you have the ROM on your SD mount it in sprecovery then connect to your computer, rename it update.zip and flash with no wipe and see if that corrects the kernel issue.

04-16-2011 09:21 PMSpoke to soon it loaded the Rom but then upon reboot is stuck on M. I'm thinking about trying with RZR and se what happens.
