About LinkBacksI recently found a DROID on the bus and was already the (proud) owner of a DROIDSo... I told my friend about it, and now he'd like to use it... Except he doesn't want to use it on the Verizon network but instead the Helio network. Helio was acquired by Virgin Mobile who was in turn acquired by Sprint-Nextel.
I have read that Helio is CDMA based so we should be able to use this DROID with their network...
How can he go about unlocking and hacking this DROID so he can use it on his network?

03-22-2011 07:53 PMYou probably should return it to the user. Even if you don't care, the user will report it lost and the esn will be locked.. so much for activating it. Plus think of how happy that person will be.

03-22-2011 07:55 PMI actually found it, called them (from my phone because it was already deactivated), asked them (actually their mother) if they wanted it back. The mother called me back and said they talked to their son and said he didn't want it back. So, I don't want to go and recycle such a nice phone...
