    Exclamation Sdcard busted?

    I decided to backup everything on my 8gb sdcard today and cut and pasted it to my desktop so I could format it, but now my phone is telling me that my sdcard is corrupted and needs to be formatted!
    I tried that, but I does nothing at all (it also will not let me mount it). So then I tried plugging into my (windows 7) computer, but whenever I click on it, it completely freezes up the "computer" program/browser!

    Does anyone know what my problem is?
    My next step is to try to access it from my ubuntu partition, but my hopes are not high.
