Unable to get to recovery menu

I am unable to get into the recovery menu, is there another way to get an alternative recovery so i can use Rom manager to reflash sprecovery? I am unrooted...or is this what they call "bricked"? I believe i am stuck, have tried RSD lite, but the program does not recognize my phone, unrooted also..,please help!!

Let's try to attack your problem in the second one linked above since that's where you gave the most info.

Ooops, that thread got closed. So anyways, you should be able to install rom manager (free) from the market and use that to flash CWRecovery, then SPRecovery. You did make a backup before flashing your rom, correct? Your phone is not unrooted, you just lost your custom recovery image. Let me guess you were trying out an UD rom.

Anyways, restore your backup, then try flashing your new rom this time with the data/cache wipe.
