    Unhappy Another bricked thread..

So I was trying to get my phone back together after trying out UD 3.0.0 all day and finally got everything right without something missing. I go and try to update voice search but it wouldn't finish so i tried to delete it in Titanium Backup. As soon as I hit the button the phone shuts off, reboots to a container with an arrow pointing out, and the android standing beside it. The bar loads up a small piece and bootloops.. I can't get into recovery, tried restarting in RDSLite, it says flash failed, and yeah.. It is over?

I did the same thing... I know its a dumb question but your in recovery mode right? Holding up when booting... If your in recovery and it fails try another computer. Windows 7 failed for me but vista works like a charm..

Your never really totally bricked on the d1. The sbf files are your friend... I did it removing a system app from ud2.5 through TiBu recovery method lol...

In an emergency you can modify (butcher) any USB cable (NOT the Motorola one that came with your Droid) to provide power directly to the battery and trick the phone into thinking the phone is fully charged. As soon as you've flashed the SBF you can boot the phone normally while hooked to the wall charger if possible to use and charge the phone.

Sorry, I'm a stickler for details. Why? Because of the next newbie to come along and read this.

What you are really asking and describing is bootloader mode, not recovery mode. Big difference.
