Need Help Please

I have a Motorola Droid and my now ex thought it would be funny to put a password on my phone. Now I cant access anything and I was told to do a hard reset but then I'd loose my text messages and phone records that I need and can't afford to loose them. Is there a way to bypass this password??? any help i can get i'd greatly appreciate.

I dont think there's a way to do it, and it's probably not a discussion we should be having anyway.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, but a factory reset is the only course of action I can offer.

This might work, not sure.

Call your phone, answer it and while on the call back out of the call screen and go into location and security and disable the password.
