stuck on chmod flash_image step it keeps freezing up i restarted my phone also? should i just download the droid root helper all over agian? i acutally downloaded my root helper from the market.

Just wanted to say that I like the 2.1 over the 2.0.1. I recently reverted back to 2.0.1, because I thought there was a messaging problen in 2.1, but it turned out that 2.0.1. has the same problem. So I thought I would just stay with 2.0.1, but noticed that it doesn't have the voice button on the virtual keyboard and doesn't have the news and weather widget that 2.1 has. So I'm back on 2.1 and loving it!

I know this is a really stupid question but on step 2, what do you mean by "main" folder on your sd card? I use windows media player and everytime I drag it over, it doesn't apper in the sync list. What am I doing wrong?

The "main" directory should be the same as the "root" directory. Not in any folder, just on the sd card.

The link for ANDROID2.1_GREEK35T_REV.0.0.41.zip is dead. The link leads to nothing and I searched for it on google and all the links come back to the same site. Any ideas?

im new and uploaded the file and put it on my sd and when i went to boot it wont update or whatever or it wont go on my phone.. someone help!
