    i get an error
    E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command

    the problem is i can't get to the new Android System Recovery in step 13

    great tutorial!!!!! although, i am VERY stupid! it would be cool if there were a video tutorial on youtube or something, i'm likely to get lost

    wat are the new features in 2.1?

    i see some people saying that its faster, and the app list is faster. anything else?

    Great guide, this is how all should be laid out. Thank you for taking the time a putting out the effort to do this.
    Just a suggestion, when you say download, make sure you tell on desktop or phone. Maybe say download these files X,Y,Z to desktop, as we will use them shortly. I followed everything you did fine. Just hoping we can cut down any confusion anyone might have.
    Again, thanks and this and anything else you do should become a sticky. I'm away from my desktop, so I haven't done it yet. Anxious to see how everyone likes it and hear the feedback. Does navigation and everything like that works?

    trying to put this on my phone and once i did the update and the reboot... i cannot find the superuser permissions in my apps menu. can i proceed or not. thanks in advance for any help.

    Sorry, same here. Don't have Superuse Permissoins in apps drawer. I'm on hold until I know it's safe to continue.

    i had the same problems as above and it seems the update file listed doesnt include su permisions. the file in this link does and i then followed instructions on the first page of this thread and it worked just fine. all you are doing is replacing the update file. no need to do this if you already have su
