    I don't know if this question has been asked but, does any one know if verizon is going to come out with an automatic 2.1 update or an optional update?

    Nandroid backup?

    I'm currently waiting for Nandroid to backup my recovery img. How long should this take? I've been waiting for quite a few minutes now, 10 maybe? Thank you all for this tutorial.

    UPDATE: 20 minutes later...a page full of yellow dots. Anyone?

    mine did not take that long... it all depends on how many apps you have installed. i have about 70 and it took maybe 5 min.

    Still adding dots to the screen, just keeps working...

    I backed up all apps before doing this. Said I had 101 apps myself. I've tried holding power to power down and possibly retry but power does not power off or take me back to the previous menu. Battery pull? What do you think?

    as long as new dots are appearing its still working and not locked up... i would just let it run until it either finishes or stops adding new dots for a decent amount of time.

    Alright. Thank you a ton!

    Could it be a battery issue though, just thinking? My battery was about 40-50% when I started this whole procedure.

    im hoping soon. If theres not one here in the next few days im going to have to revert back to 2.01
