so the liberty toolbox does or does not work? sorry your post is kinda confusing... isnt most of the changeable options in the liberty toolbox (which is what makes it so cool)? so running liberty without the toolbox would be kinda pointless
1. Open root explorer and Navigate to /system

4. add the filing line of code
The top 6 lines should look something this,
tap menu button and choose save and exit,
# begin build properties
# autogenerated by buildinfo.sh
Your ro.build,display.id may vary i changed mine to the default Liberty code but It hasn't effected anthing that i can see yet. The rest of the code after the 6th line should stay unchanged.
Reboot device and check about, under rom/mod version it should say Liberty v1.5, after that open Liberty tools and there should be no pop up. It worked for me.
I am still having issues installing themes from Liberty tools, but you can download the themes from http://www.droidforums.net/forum/lib...s-mirrors.html
i would really like to figure out what the deal is with the themes.
THANKS TO THE GET-R-DONE DEV TEAM FOR GIVING ME NEW ROMS ON THE D2G TO PLAY WITH.
Sudod2g, thanks for taking the time to put together the build.prop edits, that should make it easier on folks.
No problem. I assumed you are pretty busy.

I changed the check for liberty toolbox. Let me know if the one from the market works without having to change the build.prop.
jrummy16 haha just soft bricked my phone, haha guess i should have double checked the build.prop syntax on my desktop before rebooting device. When i get it back up I will let you know if it works.

The app still has many usable features , it just wont download themes.
THEMES for Liberty 1.5 on D2G
I have been unable to install themes using the Liberty tools app. The app was not downloading the file, it would just boot into clockwork which would report file not found.
WORK AROUND, NOT A FIX:
So I downloaded the linear theme put it into the sdcard/liberty/downloads folder then selected that theme in liberty tools and it quickly booted into clockwork and installed file. After it rebooted the theme was installed and works ok after disabling proximity sensors again.
Not sure if this is a d2g global specific problem. I have not seen any other post on this issue so must be d2g specific. any ideas?
AFTER INSTALLING A NEW THEME YOU MUST FLASH THE D2G_Sensor.zip AGAIN.
Thanks to the LIBERTY TEAM and GET-R-DONE TEAM.
Thanks for the support JRummy!:)
sudod2g, I was worried that might happen if we "fiddled" with Liberty too much. :icon_ banana:
bur Boi just emailed you those Questions Bro
THANKS JRUMMY YOU ARE NOW TRULEY GLOBAL EBEN KNOW YOU WERE B4 LOL
tried to flash Apex with romer v.5 boot looped, could not access clockwork I had to SBF now back to stock. Just thought I would let people know see if anyone had the same problem?
