skipping primary file through usb

Since upgrading to cm10.1, i found that the rom automatically created a file in my internal SD card named "0".. This file "0" has now become the automatic file my phone jumps to in file manager and also when I hook the phone to my CPU. Whenever I backup my phone it saves the backup on the internal SD card however I can only access the backup via recovery mode. When I hook my phone up to CPU or phones file manager it again skips directly file "0" allowing me no access to my recent backup.

This is kinda annoying..any suggestions?
