Is it any APP or just a certain one? Maybe a hard reset, power down the phone and pull the battery out for 10 seconds and put it back in and power it up.

Still not working and yes it's any app there must be something wrong with the phones clip board do u think it could have been something I previously copied
I would try booting into recovery and clearing the cache.
Should be same instructions as the RAZR, power down the phone, press and hold the volume up and down then the power button.
When you get to the black screen with white letters use the volume down to go to recovery and the volume up to select it.
You will see a little Android guy press the volume up and down button and it will take you to the menu. Use volume down to go to wipe cache and power button to select it. Reboot when done.

Actually it's volume up and home and I just wiped the cache and still crashes apps when I copy
That is strange clearing the cache should have removed anything on the clipboard that could be causing problems. Have you downloaded any APPS that could be questionable?
I don't have an S3 but you can try booting into Safe Mode, again I can give you instructions for the Razr and see if they work for you.
Power off the phone, turn it back on and as soon as you see your boot logo press and hold the volume up and down until you see the phone boot up and see Safe Mode in the corner, from there try your copy and paste and see if you still have the problem.
If you don't then you know it is an APP causing the problem, because Safe Mode disables all user installed APPS.

Oh the irony while I was trying to put it in recovery mode I accidentally put it in safe mode now I can't figure out how I did it lol I tried the way you told me and I surfed the web I'll keep trying though
My phone doesn't seem to want to stay in safe mode as soon as it goes into safe mode it reverts back to the regular mode
That is weird, I hate to say it but you might have to do a factory data reset and set your phone back up.
Did you get the system update they rolled out for the S3 yet?
