plug your old sd into a computer (using an adapter), copy the data on it to the computer, remove the old sd and insert the new one to the computer, format to fat32 (if it isnt already), copy the data from your old card onto the new one, remove the new sd from the computer and put it into your phone and boot it up. if all went well, you shouldnt notice anything different (except for speed, if you got a faster sd).
This is very strange, that when I copy files from the file on the laptop to the micro SD card the files don't show up on the micro SD card, but when I try to copy them again it ask if I want to replace them and the folder is showing empty. What could be going on?
i would format it and try to copy the files again.
i have seen this issue in the past from cheap/fake cards bought from ebay and amazon, other than that, im not sure what the issue could be.
ok, format the card again then use this H2testw 1.4 ? Gold*Standard*In*Detecting*USB*Counterfeit*Drives « SOSFakeFlash
it will verify that the card is good. read through the page for indicators of a bad or fake card.
