To answer my own question, a stub app seems to be an app with the added security of a line of code, called a "stub", which prevents hackers from accessing transactions made via apps like Amazon and Google Play. But I'm not entirely sure about this. Any pros out there feel free to weigh in!Quote:

I have the GS 3, but am using it only as a wifi device, no Verizon service. Should I receive the notification about the update to 4.1.2? When I go to check for updates manually, it says " service unavailable". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
