    Screen Dark when using stock browser

    I have had my S3 for about 3 weeks now and I really love but there is one thing that does bug me about it. When I use the stock browser the display is much darker that what it is when I use anything else on the phone. Is there some setting for the screen brightness in the browser settings that is seperate from the brigthness setting in the OS settings? I have looked but haven't been able to find one.

    yes, this was a change done as part of the JellyBean update (a really dumb and confusing change IMHO). To fix it, go into Settings->Power Saving Mode and uncheck "Background color". After doing that you will get normal background brightness on the stock Internet and Email apps.
