    Yahoo mail update need help

    Can anyone explain to me how I can link my yahoo mail to my gmail account and get rid of the Yahoo app. After the yahoo email update it's completely worthless it won't even inform me when I have an email. For some reason I can't get it to sync.

    Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the ymail app? I had to do that twice and now it works fine. I didn't see anything wrong with the previous version of the app. Don't know why they had to go and change it?

    The gmail app is only for gmail as far as I know... no way to add accounts from other services... you'd have to use the stock email client or download and app like K9 or Enhanced.

    Or as the previous poster stated try uninstalling the yahoo app or go to settings - apps - all, find the yahoo app and clear its data and see if that helps.
