    Speedtest.net

    I just upgraded to the S3 from a Razr and had a question on the speedtest results. My Razr used to download about 27 mbps, now with the gs3 I'm lucky to see 14 mbps. What's up with the drastic drop in download speed?

    The 4G speed has been consistently going down since the iPhone 5 came out. The more devices using the network, the slower the speed will be.

    I guess so, but my buddy has the iPhone 5 and his highest score was 50 mbps download. I was just stunned that this new of a phone, even on a secured wifi network can only pull a 14 mbps.

    My s3 give better 4g speeds than my razr IF I'm in a strong 4g area. If I'm anywhere near the fringe the razr gives better speeds... Get to fringe and the razr holds 4g,the s3 can't and bounces back and forth between 3/4g.its just something that I live with to keep the a3s way better/bigger screen and faster processor /better battery life.
