Really weird problem with the home button

I must have pressed something and don't know what it is. Everytime I press the home button to go back to the desktop, one of my folders opens up.
Also, for a few days I was able to swipe the message icon, when one came in, and it would take me to the message, but now it either takes me to the weather, or my contact list.... It's so weird!
