how to delete frequently contacted?

Under FAVORITES on my phone,tap phone-tap favorites-and frequently contacted appears, GS3 Verizon, I have my favorites all in one section and right below there's another section for FREQUENTLY CONTACTED... How can I remove or delete this section? Or if the section can't be removed, how can I at least delete the frequently contacted names on that list?

Contacts/Favorites then hit the soft menu key next to the "home" button. You should see an option for delete or remove from favorites. Choose it, check the contacts you want to remove from the list and hit done.

Ty for the reply...but I don't want to delete ppl off my favorites lists. I want to delete from frequently contacted list. How do I do that?

JrParsons.... You are correct! I was just afraid that if I deleted from favorites that I was also deleting from my contacts, but after trying... It's still saved!
