    Photo location?

I am using the stock Galaxy S3 camera and I can not find a way to let it use the gps to figure out the location of a picture? is that not an option with this camera?

    Thanks.

If you press the menu button with the camera open and click on the little gear, there should be a setting to enable geo-tagging. Then make sure you have a GPS enabled.

That's what I figured but I just don't see the option. My old phone with ICS (nexus s) had that option, this camera just seems slightly different.

I guess I should have been a bit more clear, when I said stock I meant what Samsung ships with the Galaxy S3 which is slightly different than what Google ships with ICS.
I have attached a screenshot. I wouldn't mind installing the Google ICS camera if someone has that nicely packaged into an apk.

Did you try what Rageboardr said? Go to that menu in your screen shot and scroll down to the bottom. There are several more settings. The third option from the bottom is "GPS tag." You can turn it off and on there.

    Here's what it looks like:

In that settings screen you posted keep scrolling up until you see "GPS Tag" and that is where you can enable it.

Oh wow now I feel dumb, although it really wasn't obvious that you could scroll.

Yeap, thank you all for the help. I'm used to programming forums where the first response always is "why do you want to do that?"
