Moving phone contact icons to home page

Does anyone know how to move favorite phone contact icons to the home page to make dialing frequent numbers faster and easier?

Go into your apps & then flip over to widgets. Go through until you find the various contact widgets. Add them to your screen just like anyother app. You'll then go to contacts to choose the contact for that widget.

Open up your app drawer and go to your widgets. Select "Direct dial" and place it on your homescreen. After you place it, it will open up your contacts, and you can choose who you want linked that widget. Tapping the icon on your homescreen will immediately call that person.

You can also try an app like "quick call" which does nearly the same thing

"Sign" is a cool app. You put the icon on your screen, tap it, and then you can write the symbol or letter for the person you want to call... write an "A" to call Ann, a "B" to call Bob, for example.

I'm a minimalist and don't like to have a dozen contact icons on my screen, so sign is a nice alternative.

I recommend you try the widget for contacts called Android Pro Widgets
    It's very nice

This is the best info. You really don't need another app!
