Smaller # is better. With mine showing -88 to -93 I have two bars and getting 3G. Will see what it is when 4g pops up.
I have decided to keep both phones. I was going to sell my Maxx but since it is micro sim like the GS3 I can switch the sim whenever. So the maxx will be my "work" device and the GS3 will be the night and weekend phone. What do you think? I am still pondering a little
Just got back from the Verizon store. Looked at the Razor Max and compaired to the Galaxy S3. The Razor is nice but lacks a few things that are important. For one you can not change the battery so if it does go down you have no way to power the phone unless you are next to a power sorce. At least with the S3 you can pop in a spare battery. There is no S Voice service which is a nice feature. I like the larger screen on the S3 and the fonts and icons are larger. Yes I am older and my eyes are not what they use to be... so this is important to me. I did a Speed test in the store side by side on 4G the the S3 was on par with the Max on download but much faster then the Max on upload. So the bottom line here is that I have no way to know if the Max would get a stronger signal where I live and once you switch you can't go back. Since the S3 is working even though only two bars or -93 signal most the time I think I will stick with the S3. If only I knew someone with a Razor Max that could come by the house!
With full bars of 4g my nexus beats my girls S3 in speed tests every time. Not hating on the S3 because I recommended it for her and I really like it. My nexus also receives better signal in the middle of a factory than my friends Razr Maxx and her S3. Although her signal is almost always the exact same when I compare several times a day.Quote:
