"Awake" time is not remotely the same thing as a wake lock.

Something is definitely up with the clock though. You might want to look into troubleshooting that first. But honestly, your battery life isn't all that bad. 2+ hours of screen time on so far and based on that usage, you're projected to get near 17 hours on a charge. Get the clock figured out and you should get a bit more time.

Oh okay sorry I'm not familiar with these terms. Either way it was awake too much for my tastes so I turned off NFC, turn over to mute, and cleared clock data. Got 12 hours with 4 hours of screen on time and only an hour of held awake. I'm happy

Just pull down bar and it says mobile data with two arows pointing up and down that should be it

I let the battery run down to 9% then turned the phone off and charged it. I let it charge over night. I used the phone moderately, played some games, checked facebook and twitter etc... The charge lasted gor me 1d 3hrs. I thought that was excellent. I'm smiling. :-)

No reason to turn it off to charge the phone to max, you are not getting a better charge of the battery while phone is off.
