    Is it Possible to Root Verizon S3 without losing the data on it?

    Is it Possible to Root Verizon S3 without losing the data on it? I was able to do it on other phones and would like to root my S3 but dont want to go through reinstalling everything again.
    Samsung Galaxy Note II - SCH-I605 (16GB - Titanium) (Current)
    JB 4.3 (Rooted) w/ ZeroLemon Zero Shock Hybrid Case (Black/Gray)

    Samsung Galaxy SIII SCH-I535 (16GB - White) (OLD)
    JB 4.1.2 (Rooted) in Trident Kraken A.M.S. (Black) with Perseus A.M.S. (Black)

    LG Spectrum VS920 (OLD)
    ICS 4.0.4 (Rooted)

    Motorola Droid X (OLD)
    GB 2.3.7 (Rooted - Droid 3 easy root script) in Otterbox Defender

    Not for the JB build yet (as far as I know) If you were on ICS you could still use the DebugFS method and not lose data..... But as far as I know they haven't got that working with JB

    [GUIDE] Root for Jelly Bean OTA ***UPDATED 12/25*** - xda-developers you can give this a read, i personally didnt have luck with this particular approach.

    [GUIDE] Jelly Bean Factory Image (Root/Recovery/Unlocked Bootloader) *UPDATED 12/12* - xda-developers this is the method i used. these are for jelly bean. hope this helps you.

    first link is for the OTA update second link is the last leaked update and is identical, from what i have read, to the OTA update

    I forgot to mention both methods do not wipe data.
