I have the AXI0M crossbreed aokp 4.0.4 rom, can I put the lean kernel on there? Or would that cause problems? I heard the lean kernel is the best for battery life, so that's drawing me in.
So will it work?

It should work, but some of the scripts DT uses may break in the process. [Script] Nuclearmistake's multi-kernel init.d enable-ficator for Axiom Crossbreed (by Droidth3ory) - RootzWiki <-- if you flash something like that though, it should solve that problem.
You don't have to flash that though, the kernel should work fine by itself. You just lose out on some init.d tweaks, or at least from my understanding that is what happens.
