I was getting the same message.
I just went into /system/app and deleted the .apk.
Rebooted.
Then went into Titanium Backup and restored the one I had working on the previous rom (Android Revolution HD 2.1.2) before flashing this one, and that worked.

I was just wondering if I may suggest something. In Bugless Beast the tethering restraints on the carrier side are removed. This is the one thing tying me to that ROM, but GummyJar is by far my favorite overall. I can't wait to try the OC
