This is making me think, my recovery-from-boot.p is no longer there... Apparently it has been deleted. I have flashed the cdma cwm with successful report. The does that mean I am now running the cdma version?

root explorer is well worth the $4, trust me. If you plan on continuing to flash roms/customize, it is a NECESSITY. You won't just use it once...

If you didn't delete the file at some point then there is obviously something wrong. Whether or not you are running the cdma version, I do not know. All I can say is that if I were in your situation I would flash back to stock, like i said, and start over. It really isn't hard if you follow directions carefully. It seems as if that is what your avoiding. I don't really know what else to say besides what I would do if I were in your situation and that would without a doubt be to flash back to stock.

I think ES File Explorer has a root option in the options menu that will allow you to get to that file.

Yeah, I'm sure there are alternatives, I'm just not very familiar with them

@mtnbst I completely agree. Stock is the way to go.

Hmmm had a random reboot after only a few hours. That didn't happen before with stock. Hopefully it's just a one time thing!

Since I had this reboot and didn't remove that file do I need to do anything else now or is my phone OK?

The D1 ROM I was running had the power widget available in the pulldown menu. That was really really nice. Is there any chance you might add that in the future? Also, any plans for lockscreen music controls; volume skips tracks and camera pauses for instance?

I don't know. I'm sure it's helpful, but I got by on my D1 for a long, long time without it and I flashed every ROM under the sun.

I see. That's a pain alright. Now that my phone has rebotted and I didn't delete is it OK to use ROM manager to flash or should I go the other route?
