I'm curious to know what this does exactly?
if you dont delete/alter that file then stock recovery is automatically reflashed after every reboot.
K so.... should I just hang tight with this gsm version of clockwork that I flashed (that works)?
Tried flashing cdma version over this, however "recovery-from-boot.p" does not exist in my system files, but maybe because I have been using a gsm version? I'm curious why I am not receiving any feedback on this?, is it because no one knows?
OK I will redirect my question, is this worth restoring to stock, and starting from scratch to get cdma cwm properly installed?

I really appreciate your response, do you think this method is the only solution to get the recovery-from-boot.p file back in system files?

You could try manually putting that recovery.p file in /system, I just don't think that would help at all. I think it would benefit you most (especially for the foreseeable future) if you just flash back to stock similar to how otter34 did. No need to lock your bootloader again of course. I know it is slightly a pain, but it's really something we all will need to do at some point. It is a great thing to get speedy at doing for other issues that may arise down the line with flashing and what not.
You are absolutely right.. Very well put. Guess I have plans this evening now:), thank you for your insight.
