Issue on the browser when on Youtube

Like title says, I been having screen issues when going on the web and going to youtube. When I watch a video and I try to back out I usually have to press the back button more than once to get back to web browser is that normal? Another issue is when a video is done playing the browser becomes unresponsive and I can't click any other video or go to the comments section. Did I receive a faulty unit from Asurion and if so should I call Verizon or Asurion for a replacement
