    Cannot sync Google account after rooting

    I bought a nexus today. I activated everything fine when I first boot up the phone. My gmail account synced perfect, contacts flowed in, email worked, etc. I rooted successfully using Wug's one click program. I made a backup, then installed AOKP.

    I'm now running AOKP but cannot get my gmail account synced. Every time I go to Settings > Accounts & Sync, there isn't any sort of Google option. My main issue is that I don't have a Marketplace right now, or any of the Google apps.

    Is there a fix for this, or do I restore the factory settings and try again? I'm pretty new at this stuff.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Sounds like you did not flash google apps (gapps).
