Mine gets warm but not hot when browsing while charging I also have mine set to CDMA only... stock phone...
II have never had a smartphone that didn't get hot while in use.
Mine gets very warm when talking on it. Near the earpiece. I have seen it posted before.
My Galaxy Nexus sometimes gets very hot while not being used. I will say 105 degrees F. I feels quite hot to the hands and cheek in particular. It may have been searching for a WIFI connection but should not get that hot. Anyone have that happen? Dana
I have battery indicator which shows degrees in celcius. It increases 2 degrees every minute or so or even less with normal browsing. This happens on 3g. On 4g it may actually heat up less.
It does heat up very quick and it shouldn't but it also cools down quick. Nonetheless when its hot my battery MOVES fast.
I've had a similar issue but it seems to happen most when charging the phone from a lower percentage (around 30%).
If I put it to charge and refill around 60% then it tends not to heat up.
Apart from that, there are heating issues when using Wireless Tether, or when the phone can't find a signal, but that's pretty normal among smartphones.
I started a thread similar to this a few weeks ago. My phone got blazing hot 46 C when plugged in and using Google navigation. People said it wasn't good, but didn't really freak out either. It usually averages 39 C during normal usage.
