Setting up Pop3 mail

anyone able to get pop3 working?
my gmail works fine but pop3 on charter is a no

pop3 works fine for me.I have 3 pop3 accounts setup and receive mail on them no problem

ok at least I know it's just me ,
I set up incoming is fine but
when I enter smtp.charter.net , for outgoing it won't connect, it just keeps saying it can't connect
and to re-enter the information

You probably need to use a different Port setting for the outgoing server. Try 3535. That worked for me after trying the default value (and the primary suggested port from go-daddy).

finally got it for a charter account it is different on the phone
pop.charterinternet.net
smtp.charterinternet.net
port 25 on outbound

the computer setup is just pop.charter.net
but phone has to say charterinternet.net weird ha but it's a fix
