About LinkBacksis there a way to get my nexus to announce who is calling me? I know I won't want it done all of the time but when I am expecting a call I don't want to run to the phone to find out it is a creditor.

10-22-2012 04:06 PMDo a search for "Talking Caller ID" in the app store. They have a free and a paid version. I don't know how well it works because I never used it but it looks like it will do the job.

10-22-2012 05:24 PMThis may sound a little strange but try this. Try settings->Language and input->see if Driving mode is on. If not, switch it to on. I found this while working on the s3 when a customer wanted the phone to stop announcing the call and text message.

Is there an app that announces who emails and texts are from? Like if a new email came from john doe it would say "you have mail from john doe."
